Sabrina and I had a really fun yet productive day in SoHo yesterday. Today is proving to be equally sunny with promise of being an amazing weekend (weatherwise & otherwise).

If you like The Kills, then you might be into Magic Wands. They are touring together this spring and I’m hoping to check out one of their shows in either NYC or PHL.

It’s a rainy NYC afternoon. It was a lovely weekend though, so I can’t complain too much. I’m waiting for the start of a meeting and the wrapping up of the Cole Haan project.

I originally heard this song in the trailer for 500 days of Summer, but it might be the perfect musical accompaniment for this dreary Monday.

Song I can’t stop listening to: Temper Trap’s “Sweet Disposition”

It’s raining and in an unforeseen moment of nostalgia, I listened to a lot of Dr. Dog today. If you aren’t hip to this band, catch up. They have finely tuned the art of folk ballads with a blend of acoustic guitar, piano and harmonica. Their most recent record Fate was one of my favorite albums of last year. The photos above are from their free concert in Rittenhouse Square, which proved to be one of my favorite nights of last summer. I went with Ryan and my good friends Anna and Eric (pictured, bottom right).
